Here is a very positive
article about the murals that went up downtown.  Thank you Esther Hammer for making that happen.

Since becoming a first time daddy in December, my time for painting has been limited.  But I have found time for a few exhibitions.  I was able to participate in one of the final exhibitions at the Tampa Museum of Art, as well as this past years Gala Corina.  I happily donated a painting to my friend Howard Baskin at The Big Cat Rescue for their annual "Fur Ball".  I have had a few nice photo sessions with clients, most notably a beautiful pregnant women who gave birth 3 weeks after our shoot.  I was an extra in an HBO film called "Recount", which was filmed in Jacksonville and stars Kevin Spacey and Laura Dern.  I did some beautiful mural work for a child's bedroom here in Tampa.  And most recently I completed a mural project with Elio Lopez and Jeff Jacoby that went up in downtown Tampa.  It measures 8' x 36' feet and should be up for about 6 months.  Thank you Abbey for getting that ball rolling.

I have curated and am exhibiting my work in an exhibition entitled Art A-Z, A Collective of Tampa's Best at Tampa International Airport.  The exhibiton has just gone up and will be on display for the next 6 to 9 months in Airside A of TIA.  Keep in mind if you plan to visit the airport that Airside A can only be reached if you are flying one of the connecting airlines due to security precautions.

Thanks to TIA and Kelly Figley for allowing me a great opportunity to showcase my work and the work of local artists.  Thank you Donald Butler, Elio Lopez, Trinity Rivard and Jeff Jacoby for delivering some truly great work.

The Expose Banner exhibition has just come down after 2 months of being exhibited all over town.  It was on display along both Kennedy Boulevard and Boy Scout Road as well as in Westshore Mall and the main terminal of Tampa International Airport.  Thanks to the Westshore Alliance for again being behind another great exhibition.

I'am currently at work both creating new works for and curating an exhibiton at Tampa International Airport (TIA).  This exhibition will be on display in Airside A of TIA for 6 to 9 months.  More on this as it progresses....

Well, this year has so far been an interesting one.  And let me add to that something I've done not necessarily to promote my art, but to fund it.  I filmed a bit in a Checkers commercial last month.  And it has just begun airing.  It is being played on all the major channels.  You gotta do what you gotta do....I guess you gotta eat!

I was filmed last week at my studio for "The Mayors Hour".  This is a local show on channel 15 here in Tampa Bay that the Mayor hosts.  This months edition featured local artists.  The film crew came to my studio and we did a great Q & A and they took some great shots of me working.  It is on all month long on Channel 15, it will be broadcast Fridays at 3pm, Saturdays at 12pm, Sundays at 1pm and Mondays at 7pm.  Many really good artists from the area were interviewed including my friends Maida Millan and Alex Torres.  Thank you Bubba Ellis for making it happen and thank you "The Mayors Hour".

I just recently completed a commission for a client in California.  They requested a painting that included all 7 of their cats in a "last supper-ish" setting.  I included various costumes and set it in space.

The 2007 Expose Banner Exhibition is happening again.  I have had 2 pieces selected to be in the exhibition.  The images will be displayed on banners and hung in prominent locations around the Tampa Bay area.  More as this progresses...

I recently filmed a Checkers Hamburgers commercial.  I got to drive a hydraulic car.  I've never driven a hydraulic car.  More on this soon....

And Thank you to Fade Magazine for featuring me in their February Issue.  This is a new scene magazine that is available all over South Tampa and downtown.  Thank you to Lyssa Carter for making that happen.

Thank you everyone for your continued support.

The year is starting out on the right foot.  I'am featured on the cover with a great article in the first issue of Now Magazine.  This is a new magazine and is available in the N. Tampa area.  Thanks to Tim Matthew, Karen Ketner and most importantly Charles Jaksec III for making this possible.  Call for copies and availability at 813-810-1130.

I look forward to a positive year for myself and everyone I know.  Thank you everyone for your support.

As always I will continue to update my site with current exhibitions and new images.  And I will also have a new section of work dedicated to my more commercial undertakings, detailing my large scale work such as murals and commissions.  For more information on anything I'm doing or to join my email list, please email me at caesar@czarsgallery.com . Thanks again everyone...
